Atek, Inc. Unveils New Colors for
Super Mini Optical Mouse

--New Colors Add Spice to Popular Laptop Mouse Product Line--

SANTA ANA, Calif., April 18, 2003—Atek, Inc., an innovative developer of mobile computing accessories, announced that it has introduced twxo new colors for its Super Mini Optical Mouse.

Atek’s travel mouse, which is small enough to use right on the palm rest of most laptop computers, became a popular accessory for mobile professionals in the original classic black version with red LED. The two new versions are clear polycarbonate material with a “Radiant Red” or “Jazzy Blue” LED.

“After much success with our more conservative and professional looking classic black model, we decided to offer some hipper alternatives for customers who want a little more flair," says Dan Rothman, vice president and general manager of Atek. "These two new colors continue our tradition of providing attractive and functional work productivity tools for our core mobile professional customers.”

The Super Mini Optical Mouse, which measures just one inch wide and two and a half inches long, provides the general benefits of an optical mouse -- including smooth and precise cursor control on almost any type of surface – with the added advantages of its miniature size, including carrying convenience and versatility of use in cramped spaces such as airplane seats where no mousing work surface except the laptop palm rest is available.

The Super Mini Optical Mouse is a USB-PS/2 combo pointing device that comes with a USB-PS/2 adapter and works with Microsoft Windows 2000, XP, Me, NT, 98, 95, Mac, and Linux operating systems.

Besides its small size and easy to use optical, it was constructed with other features that make it ideally suited for mobile computing, including an extra durable polycarbonate plastic shell and a thin and flexible yet super strong nylon-reinforced cord.

The Super Mini Optical Mouse is available directly from Atek (www.atek.com, 1-888-889-9990) as well as from online resellers such as Mobile Planet (www.mobileplanet.com) and CDW (www.cdw.com) as well as from major retailers such as Fry's Electronics (www.frys.com) and Micro Center (www.microcenter.com).
